Student Organizations

Membership in a student organization or club is a great way to learn new skills, build friendships, gain unique opportunities and contribute to the community. RPCC encourages students to enrich their academic experience by becoming involved in campus organizations and activities. Participation fosters responsibility and organization, showing future employers that students can successfully handle school, work, and other activities.

Student Government Association

The Student Government Association provides a form of representative self-government to all students enrolled in the college. Through this organization, rules and regulations are formulated and carried out, and plans for student activities are made and implemented. In order for the Student Government Association to successfully meet the needs of the student body, students are encouraged and expected to attend meetings and participate in the activities of the SGA. The SGA at River Parishes Community College is a program in which every student is provided the opportunity to participate.
